For this year's International Fanworks Day, the OTW chose the theme of "classic fanworks." Many stories were recced in their Feedback Fest but there are also many meta pieces we might consider classics in some way –- whether well known in a particular fandom, or influential in some way.
Why not write about the effect of a particular piece of meta you are familiar with? It could be something you have re-read, or something you have seen repeated in other ways. Apply whatever interpretation of "classic" you would like.
Writing new meta this month is optional. If you do write something though, share a link to it in a future check-in post!
