I've sometimes thought I'll get through a bunch of posts quickly, and then it turns out that there are bits here and there which I could cobble together or flesh out into new posts. It can be hard to decide what to invest time in and what to leave behind.

Sometimes meta or demifiction will do the same. I have repeatedly oopsed a book while doing xenolinguistic dictionary notes or worldbuilding settings.
